  • This quote is based on approximate measurements and estimations and is subject to final site inspection. If Vital Ease identifies significant variations from the quoted scope, a revised quote will be issued. Alternatively, this quotation may be based on Vital Ease’s onsite drawings, scope of works and specifications.
  •  At the time of quoting, it is understood that the proposed works are of a non-structural nature and do not require a building permit. However, consultation with a registered building surveyor may be required prior to installation, depending on final site assessment.
  •  Vital Ease does not provide or arrange building permits. Clients requiring permits or engineering documentation must liaise with our office prior to commencement.
  • If any quoted products are unavailable or discontinued at the time of construction, Vital Ease will propose a comparable product (within the same cost range) for client approval.
  • Vital Ease will only undertake works outlined in the approved quote. Any variations or additional work requested by the client will incur further charges and may require written approval.
  • Cancelling or placing the works on hold after commencement may result in project delays and additional costs. Cancelling works prior to the agreed start date will incur a cancellation fee.
  • This quotation does not include fault-finding or repairs to existing systems (e.g., electrical wiring). If issues arise during the works—such as safety switch tripping—additional charges may apply.
  • This quotation does not include the upgrade of existing systems to comply with current Australian Standards. Where required, further charges will apply.
  • If project delays arise due to required system upgrades or compliance issues, Vital Ease reserves the right to reschedule the scope of works accordingly.
  • This document may not be reproduced, distributed, or transmitted by any means, including photocopying or electronic transfer, without prior written permission from Vital Ease.

Delays and Adjustments

Unforeseen circumstances or client-requested changes may result in project delays. In such instances, Vital Ease is entitled to a reasonable extension of time, and the estimated completion date will be adjusted accordingly.

Compliance with Australian Standards

All works by Vital Ease comply with the National Construction Code (NCC), Victorian building
regulations, and relevant Australian Standards for electrical, plumbing, and home
modifications. We are committed to delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality results.

Warranty

  •  All work performed will comply with relevant Australian standards and regulations.
  • Workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion.
  • Waterproofing warranty: 7 years
  • Plumbing warranty: 12 months
  • Electrical warranty: 2 years
  • Structural work warranty: 10 years (as per Australian standards)
  •  Manufacturer warranties apply to fixtures and fittings supplied.

All warranty claims must be submitted in writing. Vital Ease will assess all claims fairly and address any eligible issues promptly and professionally.

Payment and Funding Approval

  • Payment by Client or Payer: If the work is to be paid by the client directly or a third party, the client or payer must sign the quote and pay the deposit before work commences. The deposit is a commitment to proceed with the project.
  •  Payment by Funding Body: If the job is to be paid by a funding body, Vital Ease requires legal approval from the funding body before work can commence. Work will only proceed once this approval has been received and confirmed.
    • Deposits for High-Value Projects: For any project valued at $10,000 or more, a deposit is mandatory. The deposit amount and payment terms will be clearly outlined in the contract, which will be sent to the client or funding body upon approval of the quote. Work will not commence until the contract is signed and the deposit has been received.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising will be resolved via arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction within the state of Victoria.
