An alarm is only usefulif it reaches the person.
A standard doorbell or smoke alarm assumes somebody can hear it. For a person with hearing loss, or someone who sleeps heavily, that assumption fails at exactly the wrong moment: a carer left standing at the door, or a smoke alarm sounding in a hallway that nobody wakes to.
Bellman’s Visit range fixes that by adding a second way to be told. Transmitters listen for the doorbell or the smoke alarm, and receivers pass the alert on as a loud sound, a bright flash, or a vibrating bed shaker, in the room the person is actually in.
