A stepless shower takes weeks. Strip-out, re-grading, waterproofing that has to cure properly, tiling, fit-off — none of it can be safely rushed. In a house with two bathrooms that is an inconvenience. In a house with one, and somebody who cannot manage at the kitchen sink for a fortnight, it is the reason the job simply never gets booked.
A portable cubicle removes that. It is a freestanding shower and toilet unit that goes up inside the house — a bedroom, a living area, a garage — in a few hours, and connects to the power, cold water, and waste already there. It has its own water heating and its own waste pumping, so it does not need to be near the bathroom.
It is also the answer where nothing can be modified at all: a rental that cannot be altered, a bathroom that physically will not take a chair, or palliative care at home where what is needed is comfort now rather than a building project.

Rails for the person and the carer
Grab rails fitted as part of the unit, so transfers in and out are supported. The cubicle is sized for a carer to assist rather than for one person alone.
A slip-resistant, level-access base
A textured fibreglass base with level entry and a small ramp, so a chair or a commode can be brought in rather than lifted over a lip.
Installed almost anywhere in the house
A bedroom, a living area, or a garage. It connects to a standard power point, the cold water supply, and the waste, and it is up in a few hours with very little disruption.

What is inthe cubicle.
It is a complete bathroom, not a portable toilet with a hose. This is what comes with it.
Doors and screening
Two outward-opening hinged doors with clear panels and rubber edging to keep the water in, locked shut with a fold-down handle. Outward-opening matters: nobody can be trapped behind them.
A water-resistant curtain on a track
Across the front and one side, sliding on a track, so the showering area can be closed off from the toileting area without shutting a carer out.
Handheld shower on an adjustable rail
The head slides up and down a corner rail, so it can be set for someone seated or standing and directed by a carer.
A standard toilet with a macerator
A conventional pan and lid with wall-mounted flush buttons. A macerator at the rear pumps to the sewer, which is what lets the unit stand somewhere with no drain of its own.
Single-lever mixer tap, with temperature control
Pull out for on. Left for hot, right for cold, marked clearly on the wall. A thermostatic mixing valve caps the delivered temperature so the water cannot run hot enough to scald.
Its own water heating
The unit connects to the household cold water and heats its own, so it does not depend on the hot water service or on being near it. It plugs into an ordinary power point.
Dismantles for access and removal
It comes apart into base, ceiling, three walls, two doors, the ramp, side rails, and the fittings — which is how it gets through an ordinary internal doorway in the first place.
Short-term or long-term hire
For a fortnight during a renovation or for months where a permanent modification is not possible. Ring us with the situation and we will tell you which makes sense.

Before you book,two things to know.
It needs power, cold water, and a waste connection
An ordinary power point, a cold water tap it can be hosed to, and somewhere for the macerator to pump to. Most rooms have or can reach all three, but it is the first thing we check.
It needs floor space and a doorway to get in
The unit dismantles to get through a standard internal door, then takes up a meaningful footprint once assembled. We measure the room and the route before confirming.
It is a hire, not a modification
Which changes how it is funded — some plans treat short-term equipment differently from home modifications. We will set the quote out so a plan manager can see exactly what it is.
It leaves nothing behind
Nothing is drilled and nothing is altered. That is what makes it usable in a rental and what makes it the sensible bridge during a renovation.

How itactually works.
A site check and a quote
We look at the room, the route in, and where the power, water, and waste connections will come from, then quote the hire for the period you need. There are no drawings and no design stage — this is the fast option and it is meant to be.
Delivery and set-up
The unit comes in dismantled, goes through an ordinary doorway, and is assembled and connected in a few hours. It is usable the same day.
Collection, and nothing left behind
At the end of the hire it comes apart and goes, and the room is as it was. The work is carried out by licensed tradespeople and backed by the relevant warranties.
The permanent versionof the same thing.
If the bathroom can be rebuilt and the funding is there, a stepless shower is the answer that lasts — level entry, no hob, and a room built around how the person actually uses it.
