SWEP, TAC, and WorkSafereferrals.
Scheme funded home modifications across Melbourne — purchase orders, client contributions, and the completion paperwork that has to come back before we can invoice.

A SWEP approvedsupplier.
Vital Ease is a SWEP approved supplier, so a therapist prescribing through the Victorian Aid and Equipment Program can send work to us directly. We also take referrals under Transport Accident Commission and WorkSafe Victoria claims — you may still see WorkSafe called WorkCover, and both refer to the same Victorian scheme.
The work itself is the same range as everywhere else on this site. What changes is the paperwork at both ends: a purchase order before anything starts, and a signed completion form before anything can be invoiced.
Where a therapist is not registered as a SWEP prescriber, that does not stop us quoting. Send the request through and our estimator will raise a formal quote either way.
Minor and major work,quoted differently.
The two halves of the range need different things from you at the request stage.
Minor home modifications
Rails, ramps, steps, non-slip work, and shower fittings. Send the client details, the therapist’s specification, and site photographs, and we quote from those without needing to attend.
Major home modifications
Bathrooms, structural access work, and anything needing drawings. Send the proposed plan, the scope of works, and photographs of the existing conditions. Where the plans do not exist yet, our draftsperson can measure, consult, design, and quote.

How a scheme fundedjob runs.
Request a quote
Client details, the therapist’s specification, and site photographs. For major work, the proposed plan and photographs of the existing conditions as well.
A purchase order is issued
The scheme issues a purchase order to us and that is what authorises the work. Where the client is making a contribution towards the cost, the terms for that part are confirmed with the quote.
Works are scheduled with the client
Stock items are usually a single visit. Custom items take two: a measure, where the design, the position, and the finish are confirmed on site, and then the installation.
Items are manufactured
Custom items are made to the measured dimensions. Changes to the therapist’s scope come back to the therapist for approval, and changes to price go to the funding provider, before manufacture.
Installation
The second visit. The client is shown how to use what has been fitted before we leave.
🔴 Completion form, then invoice
You are notified by email that the work is done, with photographs and the certificate of completion. That form has to come back to us signed before the invoice can be issued to the scheme — it is the most common reason a finished job sits unpaid.
