Vital Ease — home modification and maintenance solutions

One bedside clockfor the morning and for a fire.

The Bellman Visit Safe Package brings together an alarm clock receiver, a bed shaker, and a photoelectric smoke alarm — a complete bedroom fire alert for someone with hearing loss, ready to use.

The simplest wayto protect a bedroom.

Everything in this package does one job: make sure a person with hearing loss wakes up when it matters. The alarm clock sits by the bed, the bed shaker goes under the pillow, and the smoke alarm goes on the ceiling.

Every morning the clock wakes them with sound, light, and vibration. If the smoke alarm is ever triggered, the same clock and shaker wake them for that too — one device, in one place, that the household already knows how to use.

What is inthe package.

  • Visit alarm clock

An extra-loud alarm of up to 100dB, bright flashing lights, and a soft night light, with battery backup. It also acts as the receiver for the smoke alarm and other Visit transmitters.

  • Visit bed shaker

Goes under the pillow or mattress and plugs into the alarm clock. It vibrates strongly for the morning alarm and for a smoke alert.

  • Visit photoelectric smoke alarm

Detects smoke and smouldering fires early and sends the alert straight to the alarm clock and bed shaker.

  • A telephone and doorbell alert too

The alarm clock can connect to a telephone so incoming calls are noticed, and it will respond to a Visit doorbell push button if one is added.

  • Add more rooms later

Extra Bellman smoke transmitters can be paired with the clock, so a fire in the kitchen or lounge still wakes the person in the bedroom.

Questions

What people ask aboutbellman visit safe package.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the safe package and the smoke alarm pack?
Both wake a person with hearing loss when the smoke alarm goes off. The safe package does it through a bedside alarm clock that also wakes them every morning, so it replaces their ordinary clock. The smoke alarm pack is for households that only want the fire alert.
How loud is the Bellman Visit alarm clock?
Bellman rates it at up to 100dB, with adjustable sound, bright flashing lights, and the bed shaker as well. For someone who hears very little, the shaker and the lights do most of the work.
Can the alarm clock be used as an everyday alarm?
Yes, that is what it is designed for. It wakes the person each morning with sound, light, and vibration, and has a snooze button and a night light. The fire alert is built into the same clock rather than being a separate device.
Who installs the Bellman smoke alarm in the safe package?
We do. We fit the smoke alarm on the ceiling, set the alarm clock and bed shaker up by the bed, pair them, and test the full alert with the person who will use it before we leave.
