Every morning the clock wakes them with sound, light, and vibration. If the smoke alarm ever goes off, the same clock and shaker wake them for that too. It is one device, by the bed, that they already know how to use.

A loud alarm, bright flashing lights, and a soft night light, with battery backup. It also receives the alert from the smoke alarm.
Visit bed shaker
Goes under the pillow or mattress and plugs into the alarm clock. It vibrates strongly for the morning alarm and for a smoke alert.
Visit photoelectric smoke alarm
Detects smoke and smouldering fires early and sends the alert straight to the alarm clock and bed shaker.
